This dynamic mural was painted in a school assembly hall, showcasing the history of Basildon, an Essex town. It features significant aspects such as its connection to the Mayflower, the Plotlands, local wildlife, as well as architecture and industry.

The graphical style was a departure from my usual approach, and the design was carefully developed over several weeks, working closely with the school to capture the essence of the town’s history.
